Security Engineer, Product Security

Recorded Future is looking for a dedicated PKI Engineer to join the Product Security team within the broader Security organization at Recorded Future. Based in Gothenburg, this role will be instrumental in designing, building, and managing the internal Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for our cloud environments.

What You’ll Do:

• This is a key role focused on developing and maintaining automated Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions, ensuring the PKI adheres to both our internal security policies and industry best practices, and serving as the subject matter expert for PKI consultations, such as troubleshooting complex certificate-related issues, to teams across the organization.

• This role also involves participation in the Platform Security team's daily operations and will report to the Director of Platform Security based in Gothenburg.

What You’ll Bring:

• 3+ years of proven relevant professional experience

• Strong foundational knowledge of computer security principles

• In-depth knowledge in PKI concepts, protocols (e.g., OCSP, CRL, SCEP, EST), and certificate management

• Demonstrated experience with cloud-based PKI services, such as AWS Certificate Manager (ACM)

• Experience working with HashiCorp Vault is a plus

• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning new technologies

• Strong communication skills

• A background in coding/scripting is a plus
