Join our team as an Akins Ford Arena and Classic Center Security Event Guard, where you'll play a vital role in protecting our assets and ensuring the safety of visitors and staff. We depend on our Security Guards to ensure venue safety through proactive measures while delivering excellent customer service. Our team is responsible for maintaining a secure atmosphere, responding to incidents with professionalism and care where you will find new opportunities to grow. Shifts are posted on our Flex Staff app, so you can pick and choose the ones that will work for your schedule. Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a friendly public relations representative for visitors

Protect personnel, property, and classified information

Act as a strong deterrent against criminal activity

Identify and report safety hazards and violations

Prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety during events

Enforce facility policies, including prohibiting illegal substances and alcohol misuse

Assist with parking operations and ticketing when needed

Maintain crowd control and ensure the safety of all guests during events

Qualifications:

Flexible Day Shifts

High School Diploma or GED.

Customer service skills, and experience in team team-oriented environment.

This position requires frequent walking around the facility and lifting of materials up to 25 lbs.

Able to see, hear, and write in English.

The applicant chosen for this position must pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
