Security/Counterintelligence Analyst

Position Summary:

ANSER is seeking a Security/Counterintelligence Analyst to provide direct support for an Intelligence Community customer. This role will support research security, counterintelligence analysis, and risk mitigation activities. You will provide mid-to-senior level analysis of threats impacting research and development programs and support implementation of security compliance measures.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Analyze threat reporting and counterintelligence information impacting research programs.

• Support development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.

• Review research activities to identify security compliance requirements.

• Coordinate with program teams to ensure adherence to Intelligence Community security policies.

• Support preparation of risk documentation and security assessments.

• Monitor research efforts for potential counterintelligence vulnerabilities.

• Prepare briefings and written reports for Government leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting counterintelligence, security analysis, or research protection programs.

• Demonstrated experience conducting threat assessments.

• Demonstrated experience supporting risk mitigation and security compliance activities.

• Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance with polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting research and development programs.

• Experience applying counterintelligence principles within the Intelligence Community.

• Experience supporting a demanding, fast-paced customer environment requiring flexibility, professionalism, and attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
