The Safety and Security Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across all Distribution Centers (DCs). The role focuses on hazard prevention, compliance with regulatory requirements, employee safety development, and effective monitoring of security operations.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily safety inspections and risk assessments across all DCs
• Ensure a zero repeated accidents objective by addressing hazards and incidents
• Monitor CCTV operations and supervise security guards, preparing regular reports
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (licenses, Civil Defense, Municipality, SFDA, etc.)
• Implement and periodically review compliance plans
• Monitor employee safety performance and enforce safe work practices
• Develop and track action plans to eliminate unsafe conditions and behaviors
• Control site access and enforce visitor and entry protocols
• Oversee safety training implementation and report completion rates
• Review staff qualifications monthly and support training and development plans
• Ensure all personnel are trained in general safety procedures
Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in safety, security, or risk management (including 1 year in a supervisory role)
• Certified by the Occupational Safety and Health Program (Practitioner or Professional) and holder of a Kwader certificate.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of safety regulations, security systems, and emergency procedures
• Ability to perform risk assessments and handle high-pressure situations calmly
• Experience with CCTV and access control systems
• Knowledge of standards such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or ISO 45001
• Relevant certifications (Safety or Security) are preferred
