We are hiring a Security Analyst to join our dynamic information security team! This is an individual contributor role that carries a high impact to secure our autonomous vehicle offering.

In this position, you will shape the security of the autonomous vehicle project by developing and implementing new security controls, ensure compliance with external regulations, enhance our ISO 27001 ISMS and collaborate with authorities and vehicle vendors. You will work closely with the existing security team to enhance the overall security of the company.

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:

• Risk Assessment & Threat Modeling: Conduct comprehensive security assessments of AV hardware, software stacks, and communication protocols (V2V, V2I, V2X).

• Security Lifecycle Management: Integrate security requirements into the lifecycle of AV procurement and deployment, ensuring partners and hardware vendors meet Freenow’s rigorous standards.

• Incident Response Planning: Develop and maintain specialized incident response playbooks for AV-specific scenarios, such as remote hijacking or sensor spoofing.

• Compliance & Audit: Ensure all autonomous operations align with emerging international standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434) and local regulatory requirements. Collaborate with our internal data protection, compliance and legal teams.

• Vulnerability Management: Oversee penetration testing and vulnerability scanning of the vehicle-to-cloud ecosystem.

• External Representation: Act as a point of contact for external security researchers, regulatory bodies, and industry partners within the autonomous mobility space.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

• Cybersecurity Fundamentals: Proven experience in Information Security, with a deep understanding of network security, encryption, and IAM. Knowledge of the ISO 27001 standard.

• AV Specifics: Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN bus, Automotive Ethernet, Mobile Networks) and the ISO/SAE 21434 standard is an advantage.

• Cloud & IoT: Experience securing cloud-native environments (AWS) and their connection to edge IoT devices (the vehicles).

• Analytical Mindset: Ability to think like an attacker to identify non-obvious entry points in a complex, moving ecosystem.

• Certifications: (Preferred) CISSP, CEH, or specialized automotive security certifications

• Bridge Technical & Non-Technical: Translate complex technical risks into actionable business insights for executive leadership and stakeholders. Good communication skills and fluent English language skills are essential.
