Reporting to the Security Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety.
What you will be responsible for:
• Monitoring entries and exits (visitors, employees, customers)
• Locking and unlocking doors
• Patrolling buildings and yard, on foot or by vehicle
• Protecting evidence in the event of a crime
• Securing incident scenes
• Responding in the event of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water leaks, hazardous materials
• Writing reports and logs
• Crime prevention
• Conducting searches in case of doubt
• Performing all other related duties
To join our team:
• You must be able to work nights (schedule: 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., Friday–Saturday–Sunday, 36 hours/week)
• You hold a high school diploma
• You hold a valid security guard license issued by the Bureau de la Sécurité Privée
• You hold a valid first aid certification
• You hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license
• You are bilingual with ease of communication in French and English (written and spoken)
• You have a clean criminal record
• You have good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• You have the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and rational manner
• You have excellent judgment, observation, and communication skills
