Job Description
New Brunswick Counseling Center is seeking a Security Administrative Officer for our Burlington Comprehensive Center in Mount Holly. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and professionalism of our facility while supporting administrative and operational functions.
Responsibilities:
Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor flow
Escort disruptive or unauthorized persons off property
Patrol building and perimeter regularly
Report suspicious incidents to supervisor immediately
Assist with toxicology sample monitoring
Provide first aid/CPR and call 911 when necessary
Support safety trainings, monthly inspections, and agency protocols
Assist with telehealth setup and light sanitation duties
Answer phones, screen calls, and direct inquiries
Assist with movement and organization of supplies.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
SORA certification (must be maintained/renewed)
CPR certification
Security experience in healthcare/mental health settings preferred.
Ability to stand for shifts and interact professionally with the public.
Must pass pre-employment screenings and background checks.
Schedule:
Part-time: 20–22 hours/week
Monday–Friday, 5:45 AM – 12:30 PM (any 3 days as assigned by agency)
Saturday, 5:45 AM – 9:30 AM (rotational)
Closed Sundays & major holidays.
Work Environment:
Walking, standing, stooping; occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
