Client has an opportunity available in its preeminent, nationally top-ranked capital markets practice. Though the position is located in Cooley’s San Diego, CA office, this associate will be engaged on leading capital markets transactions taking place in numerous geographic locales, including San Diego, San Francisco, Palo Alto and Los Angeles, CA. Ideal candidates will have worked in the corporate department of a national law firm, garnering extensive experience representing both companies and underwriters in public company securities transactions. Representation of public companies in a variety of other matters, including corporate governance and SEC and exchange reporting and compliance, is preferred.

• Three to five years of public securities/capital markets experience,
• SEC and exchange reporting and compliance experience,
• Corporate governance experience.
