Objective
Be a part of the Order Fulfillment Team and help with all duties ensuring Pizzo Native Plant Nursery maintains high customer quality and expectations. Responsibilities include carrying out all aspects of the order process from pulling, staging, and accuracy in quality under the direction of the Order Fulfillment Manager and Order Fulfillment Lead. This position begins March of 2026
Pull orders throughout the season in all types of weather conditions
Willingness to work as a team to accomplish pulling and finishing orders in a timely manner
Occasionally staying late to finish orders if needed
Being flexible with work schedule due to weather conditions
Late/Early start times
Early leave times
Saturday/Sunday hours as needed
Preform re-blocking of hoop houses throughout the nursery
Consolidation of crops when needed and assigned
Maintaining a clean work environment
Organization of tools and sweeping Greenhouse 2/Staging area when needed
Cleaning workstations daily at end of day
General facility cleaning and maintenance if required
Including but not limited to
Weeding
Plastic organization
Assisting in other departments if all Order Fulfillment tasks are completed
Over-wintering preparation (if applicable to season)
Moving inventory locations
Covering Hoop Houses
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Ability to work outside 8 hours a day
Attention to detail and ability to listen to instructions
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Strong self-motivation
Willingness to work both independently and as a team
Ability to repeatedly lift 30 pounds
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Valid driver's license
Ability to work 40+ hours per week
Hours may vary, but consistently 1st shift (7am-3:30pm)
