Support Our Team During the Busiest Season on the Water
River Valley Marine of Rochester is hiring a Seasonal Full-Time Marine Transport Driver (Boat Transport Driver / Delivery Driver) to support our team during the critical spring boating season.
This role is essential to keeping boats and marine products moving efficiently, safely, and professionally as we prepare customers for time on the water. If you have experience towing trailers, transporting boats, operating commercial vehicles, or working as a transport driver, CDL driver, or equipment operator, this is an excellent seasonal opportunity to build experience in the growing marine industry.

Responsibilities
Each day will begin at one of our Rochester-area service locations. You will be responsible for the transportation, delivery, staging, and organization of boats and marine equipment, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
Delivery locations include:
Customer homes and private properties
Public boat launches and marinas
Storage facilities and indoor storage locations
Other River Valley Marine dealership locations
The boats you will transport range from 19 feet to 40 feet, requiring strong towing experience, attention to detail, and safety awareness.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Safely transport boats and marine equipment between dealership locations, storage facilities, and customer delivery sites
Operate company vehicles and equipment, including:
Pickup trucks
One-ton flatbed trucks
Rollback transport truck
Forklift
Front-end loader
Secure boats, trailers, and equipment properly for safe transport
Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and DOT compliance
Complete bills of lading, transport paperwork, and delivery documentation accurately
Assist service technicians, lot staff, and detailing team members as needed
Maintain a professional, customer-focused presence during deliveries and pickups
Follow all company policies, safety standards, and state and federal transportation regulations
Required Qualifications
Experience handling, loading, or transporting boats preferred
Experience towing trailers, including:
Bumper pull trailers
Fifth-wheel trailers
Gooseneck trailers
Experience as a transport driver, delivery driver, tow driver, or equipment operator is highly valued
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Professional communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Ability to pass a background check
Active cell phone required for daily communication
Schedule & Seasonal Expectations
Seasonal Full-Time Position
Monday–Friday schedule
Minimum of 40 hours per week
Peak season may require up to 50 hours per week
Some flexibility for evenings or Saturdays during high-volume periods
Typical hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (flexible based on workload and deliveries)
Hours may vary depending on seasonal demand and special events
