River Valley Marine Center in Red Wing, MN is hiring a Seasonal Marine Detailer to support our high-volume spring run up, boat launch, and delivery season. This position runs from mid-April through mid-July and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in high-end presentation, and thrives in a fast-paced marine dealership environment.

Compensation: Up to $25 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 40–45 hours per week
Flexible scheduling with potential for early start times or extended evening hours during peak season

Position Overview
The Seasonal Marine Detailer plays a key role in preparing new and used boats for customer delivery, showroom display, and spring lake launch. This role focuses heavily on boat detailing, marine cleaning, vessel preparation, lot organization, and equipment transport support during our busiest season of the year.

Primary Responsibilities
• Complete full preparation of new and pre-owned boats for customer purchase, delivery, and showroom display at a pristine, retail-ready level
• Wash, wax, buff, polish, and detail marine vessels using buffers, pressure washers, steamers, vacuums, and specialty marine cleaning equipment
• Clean and detail interiors and exteriors including vinyl, fiberglass, gel coat, flooring, and upholstery
• Maintain high standards of quality control and communicate workflow with management
• Move and stage boats between service bays, detailing areas, showroom floor, and outdoor lot
• Assist with boat staging for spring delivery and customer pickup
• Ability to operate forklift, F-150 truck, tractor, and trailer (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Properly trailer, secure, and transport marine units as needed
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and professional presentation across sales and service lots
• Support additional departments during peak workload as needed

Qualifications
• Previous detailing experience preferred (marine, automotive, or powersports)
• Experience operating forklift and towing trailers strongly preferred
• Ability to lift, bend, and work in an active outdoor environment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in finished product
• Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction well
• Comfortable working around high-value boats and equipment
• Valid driver’s license required
