Marine Detailer & Boat Handler (Seasonal – Spring Launch Season)
Long Lake, MN | Lake Minnetonka Area
Seasonal Full-Time | April–July 2026 | $17–$23/Hour

River Valley Marine is hiring a Marine Detailer & Boat Handler to support our busy spring launch and summer boating season.

If you enjoy working around boats, water, and high-end equipment, this is a great seasonal opportunity with consistent hours and the potential to return each season.

You’ll help prepare premium boats including pontoons, surf boats, wake boats, and cruisers for delivery and launch on Lake Minnetonka.

Pay & Schedule

$17–$23 per hour depending on experience

Seasonal: April – early July

Monday–Friday schedule

40–50 hours per week

Overtime opportunities during peak launch season

What You’ll Do

Detail new and pre-owned boats (wash, wax, buff, polish, interior cleaning)

Prepare boats for customer delivery and lake launch

Move and stage boats around dealership property

Assist with boat transport and trailer handling

Operate detailing tools and equipment

Maintain clean and organized staging areas

What We’re Looking For

Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work

Comfortable working outdoors and around boats

Ability to operate trucks, trailers, or equipment (or willingness to learn)

Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented

Valid driver’s license

Experience in boat detailing, automotive detailing, marina work, or powersports equipment is a strong plus.
