Tire Hotel Inc. is a seasonal Tire Storage and logistics provider supporting automotive dealerships across Southern Ontario. We specialize in the secure storage, delivery, and retrieval of seasonal tires, operating from our temperature-controlled warehouse in Woodbridge, Ontario.

Our team works closely with dealership partners throughout the Greater Toronto Area, Oshawa, Ajax, Barrie, Kitchener, and London to ensure tires are transported and stored safely and efficiently during peak seasonal periods.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking Seasonal G Class Drivers to join our Woodbridge-based operations team.

In this role, you will be responsible for transporting sets of tires between our warehouse and dealership clients, ensuring accurate deliveries and pickups while maintaining safe driving and handling practices.

Drivers will load and unload tires using a tire dolly and tailgate lift, scan inventory using a tablet-based system, and ensure all tires are handled and transported safely. This position requires frequent lifting, physical activity, and strong attention to safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a company truck to deliver and pick up tires at dealership locations.

Use a tire dolly to unload and transport sets of tires from the rear of the truck to dealership locations.

Scan tire labels using a tablet system to ensure accurate delivery and inventory tracking.

Load tires being returned to the warehouse and stack them securely in the truck.

Ensure all tires are properly scanned and organized for transport.

Safely operate the tailgate lift during loading and unloading.

Stack tire sets up to 6 tires high during delivery and up to 8 tires high inside the truck.

Maintain safe handling practices while moving tires between the truck and dealership locations.

Experience

Valid G Class driver’s license with a minimum 3-year clean driving record.

Driver’s license copy and driver abstract dated within the last 30 days must be provided.

Experience driving 26-foot straight trucks with tailgate.

Experience driving in congested, high-traffic areas and navigating tight spaces (training will be provided to verify skills).

Requirements

CSA-approved safety boots.

Ability to lift and move 80+ lbs continuously.

Ability to stand, squat, walk, and move heavy loads throughout the shift.

Ability to use a tablet and scanner.

Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors regarding issues or delays.

Strong customer service skills.

Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to navigate to destinations efficiently and on schedule.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays

6:00 am start each day until job completion by 5:00 pm

Overtime as needed

Contract length: 10 - 12 weeks

Salary Range:  $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
