We are looking for a Foreman to oversee and direct our asphalt sealcoating crews. This role will ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, in accordance with our company’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Crew Management
Lead, supervise, and motivate sealcoating crew members during daily operations.
Plan and organize job tasks, materials, and equipment needed for each project.
Train crew members on proper sealcoating techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use.
Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications and deadlines.
Communicate project progress, changes, and issues to project managers.
Sealcoating Operations
Oversee surface preparation, including cleaning, edging, crack sealing, and minor repairs.
Direct the application of sealcoat using spray rigs, squeegee machines, and manual tools.
Ensure proper mixture, handling, and application of sealcoat materials
Inspect work throughout the day to maintain consistent quality and thickness levels.
Oversee layout and execution of pavement markings when required.
Equipment & Material Management
Operate and maintain sealcoating equipment
Perform daily equipment inspections and coordinate repairs as needed.
Manage material inventory and ensure safe handling and storage.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce company and OSHA safety standards on all job sites.
Conduct daily job site safety meetings and hazard assessments.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a leadership role within asphalt maintenance, sealcoating, or paving.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. consistently.
Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for long periods.
Work in varying weather conditions and around hot materials.
