What is the team like?

At InMobi Advertising, you’ll be part of a high-impact team shaping how billions of users engage with content, commerce, and brands through a global mobile advertising ecosystem. The team owns the quality of complex, rich media creatives across devices and platforms, with a strong focus on automation. As an SDET 2, you’ll build scalable automation solutions to ensure seamless ad load behavior, user interactions, and reliable end-to-end tracking, while continuously improving test coverage and release efficiency.

What do we expect from you?

•
Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing, ensuring high reliability and coverage.

•
Drive backend, API, SDK, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across the product stack.

•
Design and execute test plans and test cases to validate product functionality and ensure complete feature coverage.

•
Execute tests, document results, and identify/report defects, working closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.

•
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and take ownership of test reliability and continuous quality validation.

•
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, UX, and DevOps teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholders such as Customer Success, Operations, and Sales, to ensure the product delivers a seamless end-to-end customer experience.

Preferred Skills:

• 3+ years of automation experience.

• Strong coding in Java and/or Python (OOP, debugging).

• Strong hands-on experience with Appium, REST-assured, Playwright, or equivalent modern automation tools.

• Experience testing SDKs, microservices, and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Git, GitHub Actions, CI/CD.

• Exposure to cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Working knowledge of AI/GenAI concepts applied to testing or automation.

• Strong communication skills and an ownership mindset.
