Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices and support cross-functional and remote teams in delivering high-value outcomes. In this role, you will serve as a servant leader and coach, enabling teams to adopt Agile principles, improve collaboration, and achieve their goals efficiently.

The Scrum Master will work closely with Product Owners, team members, and stakeholders to remove impediments, ensure alignment, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires excellent facilitation, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to adapt to the needs of distributed teams operating in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment and team engagement.

• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and self-organization to improve collaboration and delivery.

• Remove impediments and address challenges that hinder the team’s progress, ensuring smooth workflows and delivery momentum.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain and refine product backlogs, ensuring clarity and prioritization of work.

• Foster open communication and transparency among cross-functional teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders.

• Promote continuous improvement by facilitating team retrospectives and encouraging experimentation and feedback loops.

• Enable effective collaboration and trust-building within remote teams, addressing challenges such as communication barriers and time zone differences.

• Leverage tools and technologies to optimize workflows and support distributed teams (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack, Miro).

• Track and report key metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to ensure visibility into team performance and progress.

• Advocate for a culture of Agile excellence, coaching team members and stakeholders to embrace an Agile mindset.

Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role in an Agile environment.

• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, and the ability to coach teams on best practices.

• Experience working with cross-functional and remote teams, fostering collaboration and engagement.

• Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and remote collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Miro).

• Exceptional facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to remove obstacles and drive problem-solving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on prioritizing and delivering value.

• Comfortable working across time zones and adapting to the needs of distributed teams.

• Fluent in English

Preferred:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certifications.

• Experience with scaling Agile frameworks, such as SAFe or LeSS, in large organizations.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and their integration into Agile workflows.

• Understanding of metrics and KPIs to assess and improve team performance.
