Context: Our client is expanding its capabilities around the ServiceNow platform, specifically within the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) module.
The IRM team is well‑established and operates using Agile methodology.
The Scrum Master will support this team by facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering continuous improvement.
Objective: The person will be responsible for coordinating and animating all Scrum ceremonies, ensuring efficient communication between stakeholders, and supporting the IRM development team in delivering high‑quality increments.
The role involves coaching the team on Agile best practices, collaborating with the Product Owner, and ensuring alignment across ServiceNow platform teams.
Description of the activities:
• Agile Facilitation and Team Support:
• Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
• Support backlog refinement sessions with the Product Owner, architect and developer.
• Remove impediments and ensure the team maintains a sustainable, predictable pace.
• Monitor team performance using Agile metrics (velocity, sprint goals, impediments log).
• Promoting transparency and collaboration within the team.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with the Product Owner, ServiceNow developers, architects, and product managers.
• Support coordination with other ServiceNow teams.
• Facilitate workshops to clarify requirements, dependencies, and priorities.
• Ensure alignment between IRM development activities, platform governance, and organizational standards.
• Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:
• Promote Agile values and principles across the team.
• Identify opportunities to optimise processes, team communication, and delivery flow.
• Encourage a culture of inspection, adaptation, and continuous learning.
• Support the adoption of good practices related to quality, documentation, and platform consistency.
