As a Scrum Master for Delinea software development teams, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping Scrum as defined in the Scrum guide. You will do this by effectively leading global teams and ensuring best practices of Scrum theory are met, both within the scrum teams and organizationally. The ideal candidate will embrace being accountable for the scrum team’s effectiveness in delivering high quality products and services to customers. You will accomplish this by enabling the scrum team to improve its practices, within the scrum framework. Scrum masters are true servant leaders to the scrum team and the larger organization.

This position will work hybrid, 3 days per week in our Mexico City office in Reforma.

What You’ll Do:

• You will be the scrum master for at least two scrum teams with remote team members

• You will help the scrum team focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the definition of done

• You will focus on removing impediments to the scrum team’s progress

• You will work with other scrum masters to track dependencies and ensure cross-team initiatives are tracking to schedule

• You will ensure that all scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox

• You will help implement techniques for effective product goal definition and product backlog management

• You will help the scrum team understand the need for clear and concise product backlog items

• You will help establish empirical product planning for a complex environment and facilitate stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of product or project development experience, or 3 years of project development experience on an agile team or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

• Current Certified Scrum Master

• Excellent communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and coaching skills

• Microsoft Azure DevOps experience

• Data analysis and reporting skills

We’d Love to See:

• Certified Product Owner

• Security training or certification

• Experience working with Cloud and Saas products

• Experience with other agile methodologies like Kanban or XP
