Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth execution of Agile processes, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement for our development teams. Team Support and Mentorship: Support, educate, engage, and mentor team members, Product Owners (PO), managers, and stakeholders to adhere to Agile principles. Clearly define roles and responsibilities for all team members.
Foster Collaboration and Innovation: Promote a collaborative team environment that encourages ownership, creativity, and innovation, in alignment with Team Leaders (TLs).
Continuous Improvement: Drive and measure continuous improvement processes to ensure the team meets and improves Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) over time.
Vision and Goal Alignment: Understand project vision and sprint goals, ensuring their smooth implementation.
Scrum Meetings Facilitation: Organize and facilitate key Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Dependency Management: Coordinate and manage dependencies and integrations with external Scrum teams and Scrum Masters.
Impediment Removal: Identify and remove impediments or guide the team to resolve them effectively.
Definition of Done Compliance: Ensure the team adheres to the Definition of Done (DoD) and delivers high-quality work.
Progress Reporting and Risk Management: Communicate project progress to the Program Manager (PgM) and other managers, raising risks or flags when necessary.
JIRA Management: Ensure all project items (Epics, Stories, Bugs) are properly tracked and updated in JIRA, including time recording (estimates, time spent, and time remaining).
Requirements
At least 4 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, preferably in a remote or distributed team setting.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and principles.
Exceptional facilitation and communication skills.
Hands-on experience with Agile tools like JIRA, structure, EazyBI
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide teams while fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remove impediments effectively.
Experience in dependency management and working with multiple teams/stakeholders.
Knowledge of using AI tools, project reporting and KPI tracking is a plus.
