Scrum Master

Valleysoft is a leading IT services provider, dedicated to helping organizations streamline their operations and enhance project delivery through innovative solutions. We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to join our team and facilitate Agile practices within our project teams.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Scrum principles and practices are effectively applied throughout the organization.

You will work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and team members to keep projects on track, remove obstacles, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Formulating techniques for effective Product Backlog Management through removing project impediments that stand in the way of team productivity and performance.
• Ensuring that the Product Owner has clarity on arranging the product backlog to yield maximized value.
• Creating transparency in processes and resolving conflicts and ensure that the development team is working effectively through conducting regular reviews.
• Participate in planning Scrum implementations within the organization and facilitate Scrum events as requested or needed.
• Coaching the Development Team in organizational environments in which Scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood through helping employees and stakeholders understand and implement Scrum practices.
• Support the team to understand and follow the goals, scope of work and product domain while acting as a change agent that increases the productivity of the team.
• Monitor & report the project progress in addition to resolving project conflicts for a smooth operating environment and avoid delays in the project timelines.
• Ensure proper issue resolution actions are taken, and relevant escalations are being done whenever required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Proven experience in facilitating Scrum events and effectively managing stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to team collaboration.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) is a plus.
