Scrum Master

Responsibilities

• Act as a change agent by promoting an Agile mindset and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and adaptability within the organization. Encourage teams to embrace Agile values and principles beyond just following processes.
• Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Act as a servant leader, ensuring that the Scrum Team has the tools, resources, and information needed to effectively complete their tasks.
• Identify and remove obstacles or impediments that hinder the team's progress and prevent them from achieving their sprint goals.
• Coach the Scrum Team and Product Owner on Agile principles and practices, helping them to understand and implement Scrum effectively.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team, promoting open communication and transparency.
• Protect the team from external distractions and disruptions, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality work during the sprint and report on team progress using Agile metrics like burndown charts, velocity, and sprint progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Encourage the team to reflect on their processes and outcomes during Sprint Retrospectives and facilitate improvements accordingly.
• Assist the Product Owner in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring it is well-defined and up-to-date.
• Address conflicts and disagreements within the team, promoting a healthy and collaborative work environment.
• Identify and manage risks that could impact the successful completion of the project and work with the team to mitigate them.
• Stay up-to-date with Agile and Scrum best practices and share knowledge with the team to foster continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience acting as a Scrum Master in a fast-moving tech environment.
• Certified (ICAgile / ACSM / Kanban / SAFe ) is preferred.
• Additional Agile certifications like Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are a plus.
• Have passion for driving teams towards high performance and a deep pride in quality craftsmanship that delights users.
