Purpose of Job:
• Responsible for technical rationales based on claims.

• Build an efficacy ingredient database and recommend ingredients according to the needs from formulators or PD.

• Establish an innovation product database

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Technical Rationale

• Prepare technical rationale according to the claims.

• Analyze formulations.

• Retrieve existing data from the database to substantiate claims.

• Review literature to determine effective levels for new ingredients.

• Maintain communication with US R&D.

2. Ingredient Database Maintenance

• Build and maintain the efficacy-ingredient database.

• Maintain ingredient effective levels and cost.

• Recommend ingredients based on the needs from formulators or PD.

3. Innovation Product Database Maintenance

• Establish the innovation product database.

• Enter open-innovation products into the database.

• Provide real-time updates on pre-innovation project progress.

Education/Knowledge/Experience:
Minimum request:

• Bachelor Degree in Chemical or other technical discipline

Competency:

• Familiar with chemical structures, cosmetic efficacies, and clinical test analysis.

• Proficient in searching and reviewing English-language scientific literature.

• Passionate and enthusiastic on facing challenge, learning new things and driving tools development.

Relevant knowledge demand:

• Communication: Proficiency in both written English and Chinese
