Job Summary
The School Psychologist at The Allicock Group contributes to the well-being and academic success of students by providing psychological assessments, interventions, and support services. This role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and students to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Duties:
Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement intervention plans to address students' individual needs.
Provide counseling and guidance to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges.
Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Support school-wide programs aimed at fostering a positive school climate and mental health awareness.
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address students' academic and behavioral concerns.
Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Empathetic and student-centered approach.
Ability to work effectively in a school setting.
