We are seeking a highly organized and proactive School Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the institution. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of school activities, maintaining compliance with policies, and supporting academic staff by managing backend operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative expertise, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic school environment.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily school operations, ensuring all administrative processes run efficiently and effectively.
• Manage school facilities, infrastructure, and maintenance to provide a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Coordinate with academic staff, vendors, transport teams, and support staff for seamless execution of school activities.
• Maintain and update school records, documentation, and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Handle admissions processes, student records, and parent communication in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Supervise administrative staff, ensuring productivity, accountability, and adherence to policies.
• Develop and implement operational policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
• Monitor budgets, manage expenses, and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, safety standards, and school policies.
• Organize school events, meetings, and activities by coordinating logistics and administrative support.
• Address operational challenges proactively and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
Required Skills & Competencies (Administrative Focus):
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent documentation, record-keeping, and reporting abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in school management systems, MS Office tools, and basic data management.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience in vendor management, procurement, and facility administration.
• Knowledge of compliance, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements in educational institutions.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide administrative teams.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Management, Education, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
• 1 to 15 years of experience in school administration, operations, or a similar role.
• Prior experience in educational institutions is preferred but not mandatory for junior roles.
