Role Overview
This role is perfect for an SLP who enjoys helping school-age children build confidence in communication—speech clarity, language comprehension/expressive skills, fluency, and social communication. You’ll have the support of an exceptionally collaborative team, flexibility in scheduling, and a consistent caseload driven by a large referral base.
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat school-age communication challenges using evidence-based methods
• Develop individualized plans with measurable, functional goals
• Deliver therapy that is structured, motivating, and progress-driven
• Communicate with caregivers on goals, progress, and carryover strategies
• Collaborate with your supervisor and team for clinical input and best practices
• Keep session notes, plans of care, and progress updates current and accurate
• Maintain professional standards while independently managing your weekly schedule
Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license or CF eligibility; CCC-SLP welcome
• Strong organization and ability to manage caseload, planning, and documentation
• Clear communication style and team-first mindset
• Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with literacy-related language skills (narratives, comprehension, vocabulary)
• Experience with fluency or social communication interventions
• Comfort working across multiple locations based on family needs and scheduling
Tools & Technology
• Documentation and scheduling software (training provided)
• Virtual platforms for supervision, team collaboration, and occasional teletherapy
• Standardized and informal assessments; goal/data tracking resources
