AIM is currently seeking a Scale and Transportation Clerk for its Matane site. The position is full-time, scheduled Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., as well as Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Reporting to the Site Director, the Scale and Transportation Clerk plays an essential role in the day-to-day operations of the department. The position provides support in administrative tasks, planning, transportation coordination, and customer service.
What you will be responsible for :
• Opening and closing daily operations;
• Welcoming customers, informing them of current metal prices, and directing them on site in accordance with established procedures;
• Answering phone calls and providing quality customer service;
• Weighing materials, generating delivery slips using the RECY system, and processing customer payments;
• Preparing shipping documents and ensuring follow-up on material shipments;
• Coordinating truck dispatch and communicating relevant information to the receiver;
• Balancing the cash register, producing required reports, and performing any other related duties.
