Green Energy Access, part of the rapidly expanding Energise Energy Solutions group, is a fast-growing scaffolding and access services provider set to become a major force in the scaffolding industry.
The Scaffolding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures on construction sites. This role ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while managing scaffolding teams and coordinating with other site supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, allocate, and supervise scaffolding work crews.
Inspect scaffolding materials and structures before, during, and after erection.
Always ensure scaffolding stability and safety.
Conducting risk assessments and implementing safety plans.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, incidents, and maintenance.
Train new staff on scaffolding safety protocols and techniques.
Coordinate with project managers and other supervisors to align scaffolding activities with project timelines.
Manage scaffolding inventory and order materials as needed.
Resolve on-site scaffolding issues promptly.
Role Requirements
Relevant certifications such as CISRS Scaffolding Supervisor.
Several years of experience in scaffolding, including supervisory roles.
Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and local regulations.
Advance scaffolder CISRS
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Working Conditions
Work is primarily on residential sites, often outdoors and at heights.
Requires physical fitness and adherence to safety protocols.
May involve working in varying weather conditions.
Location: Bedfordshire.
Benefits
Annual Holiday Entitlement of 25 days (extra day per year up to 28) plus bank holidays
£45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
