Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, creating and analyzing programs, processes, and procedures to extract, transform, integrate, and load data into data systems using SAS.

• Responsible for logical modeling relevant to databases and data systems.

• Responsible for the maintenance and support of enterprise data system(s).

• Knowledge of enterprise data architecture principles.

• Expertise required in data system platforms and database programming languages (specifically SAS) and tools.

• Knowledge of logical modeling, distributed systems, IT architecture, infrastructure standards.

• Knowledge of industry best practices for design and deployment.

• Knowledge of standards applications in physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security.

•Ability to develop data requirements and configure database parameters accordingly.

• SQL skills (e.g., tuning SQL queries).

• Data Warehouse modeling skills (e.g. star schema datamarts, summary tables).

• Demonstrated expertise in SAS.

• Demonstrates a deep understanding of emerging technologies and trends that could impact the field and the business.

• Communicates in a manner that conveys credibility and confidence that he/she will deliver on the customers’ needs. Makes complex ideas or situations clear, simple, and/or understandable.

• Takes or directs persistent, repeated and varied actions to overcome technical or people obstacles, rejection or failure and resolve customer issues/concerns in a manner that exceeds normal expectations.

• Consistently seeks to develop self and skills needed to be prepared for future opportunities and be among the best in his/her field.

• Bachelor of Science Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
