DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SAS/ETL/Teradata – Development and documentation. Some daily meetings and need to be able to assist production support teams when needed- but primary day to day duties = heavy development.
The key for this role is someone who can work ETL/SAS Automation background**
BASIC MUST HAVES:
Strong SAS Development –Base SAS* & advanced functionality/options in SAS - ie: Proc SQL, Proc Report, Macro, Proc ODS (mainly uses these things pretty often on the team)
ETL Teradata background– ETL version 15. Need to be able to get data from different sources (we connect to different servers to get data and then load it into Teradata BTEQ, or SAS)
Teradata/ETL Tools – testing with and using Teradata tools: BTEQ, MLOAD, FASTLOAD, TPT, FASTEXPORT. BTEQ* is most important (Trying to convert some FastLoad over to BETQ now)
Strong Communication- able to lead efforts and work with business and tech partners.
Great Documentation - experience creating PowerPoint and documentation per business users requirements, and document their development.
