Job Description

As an SAP TM Consultant, you will work closely with clients to understand their transportation and logistics needs, design and implement SAP TM solutions, and provide ongoing support. This role requires expertise in SAP TM functionalities and integration with other SAP modules to optimize transportation processes.

Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

Configure and implement SAP TM solutions to meet client requirements.

Design transportation networks, carriers, rates, and master data.

Customize SAP TM functionalities and integrate with SAP SD, MM, EWM, and FI modules.

Business Analysis

Gather and analyze transportation management requirements.

Prepare AS-IS and TO-BE process documentation and functional specifications.

Project Delivery

Lead end-to-end SAP TM implementation projects (blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment).

Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer for end-users.

Support & Optimization

Troubleshoot and resolve SAP TM issues post-implementation.

Recommend system upgrades and process improvements.

Collaboration

Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

Minimum 5 years in SAP TM implementation and configuration.

Hands-on experience in transportation planning, freight order management, carrier selection, tendering, and settlement.

Strong understanding of transportation management processes.

SAP TM certification (preferred).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Technical Skills

SAP TM configuration (Master Data, Freight Units, Planning, Charge Calculation, Settlement).

Integration knowledge with SAP SD, MM, EWM, FI.

Familiarity with S/4HANA embedded TM setup.

Understanding of LSP/Shipper scenarios and EDI interfaces.

Analytical thinking and problem-solving.

Stakeholder management.

Project management and team collaboration.
