Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Technical Lead with expertise in NetWeaver and Basis. The SAP Technical Lead will oversee the administration and operation of SAP-centric solution management. Key responsibilities include delivering technical guidance and ensuring that the NetWeaver team complies with established technical standards. Collaborate with Functional and Technical Designers to guarantee consistent and high-quality technical solutions that align with the agreed designs. This role also plays a crucial part in enhancing the team’s technical knowledge and delivery capabilities. The position encompasses all facets of SAP NetWeaver administration, such as system installations and upgrades, troubleshooting and resolution, database management, client copies, system refreshes, SAP instance configuration, and performance optimization for a complex system landscape. Furthermore, the SAP Technical Manager will engage in the transition process to facilitate a seamless shift from implementation to production operations.

Requirements:
• Offer technical analysis and oversight proficiency in the management of SAP Netweaver and SAP development teams, thereby directly shaping business solutions.

• Collaborate effectively with the Implementation Delivery Leadership Team to aid in the development and execution of services within the SAP domain.

• Develop comprehensive documentation for SAP system administration, development processes, and operational guidelines.

• Ensure compliance with established standards during the execution of procedures, quality assurance measures, templates, and documentation.

• Oversee existing operational guidelines to guarantee consistency and completeness.

• Take appropriate actions to investigate and resolve incidents and issues arising within SAP systems and services.

• Uphold the integrity, manageability, and architectural fidelity of SAP systems.

• Act as a technical lead in the design, development, testing, and implementation of technology solutions (please note that significant support may be necessary beyond regular working hours).

• Establish a performance baseline, monitor system performance, and optimize for maximum efficiency.

• Develop SAP technical components and maintain fluency in various SAP technologies.

• Engage with the Netweaver team to establish a suitable security model for any new enhancements or modifications, leveraging expertise in the current SAP security model.

• Lead the resolution of matters associated with the implementation and testing of SAP SPS upgrades and service pack enhancements.

• Participate in the Change Request process to document and validate the necessity for changes.

• Implement and evaluate backup and recovery strategies, high availability solutions, as well as configurations for network, database, and operating systems.

• Foster and maintain effective, productive relationships with clients and team members.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as required to meet the objectives of the role.

EDUCATION:

 A graduate or post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent field from a recognized national or international educational institution.

 Proficient communication skills in both Arabic and English languages.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• Over 10 years of professional experience in SAP projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing SAP landscapes within midsize or large organizations.
• Proficient in SAP Basis/NetWeaver administration for both ABAP and JAVA stacks.
• Familiarity with multiple operating system environments, including Linux, Unix, and Windows.
• Experience in implementing S/4 HANA.
• Skilled in the installation and configuration of various SAP products.
• Competence in hardware capacity planning.
• Knowledgeable in various backup and recovery tools utilized with SAP products.
• Experienced in high availability solutions.
• Proficient in the SAP Correction Transport System and SAP Security management.
• Understanding of different SAP security models and products, such as SSO and IDM.
• Familiarity with change management processes.
• Insight into internal support and escalation processes.
• Knowledge of SAP support processes (OSS) along with escalation workflows.
• Experience in enterprise-wide system implementations.
• Experience with SAP defense-related products is an advantage.
