The Client Enterprise Architecture Office is seeking an Architect with experience in BPM and Solution Architecture to support the Client SOA environment undergoing modernization.
In support of the Client SOA efforts and the Modernization program and related projects, this position will:
Lead Business Process Management efforts as BPM Architect responsible for tasks including but not limited to: Business process definition, Process to workflow modeling, rules identification and definition, business requirements definition, detail business operational redesign, and BPMS application design, generation, and support.
Work closely with key business and IT personnel, to architect and review (design, development, integration, and deployment) solution options in accordance with client enterprise architecture and security standards.
Review the high-level solution architecture options with business clients and other technical experts.
Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with existing EA including hardware, network, and integration with other systems including SAP.
Make recommendations about current and new technologies and guide decision makers toward the final solution architecture.
Produce relevant solution design artifacts including but not limited to: requirements, use cases, test cases, sequence diagrams, data models, and conceptual logical and physical system designs.
Work with Enterprise architects and other IT resources as needed to evolve strategies, policies, processes and procedures, sourcing guidance, standards, blueprints, reference architectures, architecture patterns, design patterns and technology roadmaps.
Provide knowledge transfer to other team members.
Skill Matrix:
Experience in Business Process Management as BPM Architect in large organization undergoing transformation.
Experience architecting enterprise, technical solutions using advanced technologies
Strong, demonstrated application design and development skills (object-oriented analysis and design techniques)
Possess knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, architecture patterns and related domains.
Experience architecting integrations with Enterprise SAP solutions.
Solid written, oral communications and presentation skills
Experience integrating solutions across disparate platforms including distributed, web-based, and IBM mainframe
Proficient in using an Enterprise Architecture tool to Model business processes in UML.
Experience on large government technology solution projects specifically in support of a State Motor Vehicle organization
Possess extensive knowledge of software/systems development lifecycle methodologies including SOA methodologies.
