We are looking for an experienced SAP Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end solution design and delivery across complex SAP landscapes. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, delivery management, and presales, requiring deep SAP functional expertise, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to design compliant, scalable solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on SAP configuration experience, strong exposure to statutory and compliance-driven solutions (such as E-Invoicing and E-Way Bill), and a proven track record of delivering global SAP programs.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Engage with customers to understand business and compliance requirements and design end-to-end SAP solutions across modules based on the customer environment.
• Architect statutory and compliance-driven solutions, including E-Invoicing and E-Way Bill.
• Design integrated solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems, including:
• Integration of E-Invoicing solutions with SAP S/4HANA and ECC
• Integration with Government portals, GSPs, and third-party E-Invoicing providers
• Implementation of SAP best practices for IT operations

• Define integration architectures leveraging SAP BTP or similar PaaS platforms.

Delivery & Program Management

• Lead solution delivery while maintaining ownership of architectural integrity.
• Manage project planning, estimation, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Drive delivery using SAP Activate, Agile, and ASAP methodologies.
• Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams across functional, technical, and integration streams.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
• Enforce quality controls across all deliverables, especially statutory and compliance-related solutions.

Presales & Customer Engagement

• Lead customer discussions, workshops, and presentations aligned to SAP domain expertise.
• Own technical and functional presales conversations, including compliance-focused solutioning.
• Prepare and review demos, use cases, proposals, Statements of Work (SoWs), and presentations.
• Support RFP responses and guide teams to ensure high-quality, compliant submissions.
• Leverage SAP Model Company assets for demos and presales engagements.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 14+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale SAP solutions.
• Proven experience working with domestic and global customers.
• Strong functional understanding of SAP FI, SD, MM, PP, QM, PM, WM/EWM, with hands-on configuration experience in at least one module.
• Deep expertise in SAP MM (IM, WM, EWM), SD, and Project Management.
• At least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation using SAP Activate, including statutory/compliance components.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) or equivalent PaaS solutions.
• Experience implementing SAP best practices for IT operations.
• Advanced hands-on experience in:
• SAP system configuration and customization
• Functional specifications, enhancements, reports, and user exits
• Integration analysis in complex SAP landscapes

• Experience integrating with non-SAP systems, including TAX and statutory interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS and cloud integrations using REST APIs, JSON, and web services (e.g., Ariba, Concur, third-party platforms).
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager is desirable.
