The Operational Service Introduction Lead is responsible for the service transition activities related to Program’s solution deliverables. The Operational Service Introduction function within the Program Transition Team will ensures that impacted services introduced into the live production estate are reliable, predictable and secure in their operation. This is governed by the Service Introduction Manager through engagement of impacted delivery teams ensuring technical and operational requirements are understood and fit for purpose. Facilitating and assuring the readiness and acceptance of project and service deliverables with the operational teams to enable a successful implementation and on-going service against agreed SLA targets. Managing risks and issues that will have an adverse impact on ability of the operations teams to deliver a stable service. The general scope of the team is to transition SAP, related SAP components, and ITS components affected by SAP from their build phase to into an operational state. The operational teams will include the Hexaware Solution Center, internal IT Services organization, and various 3rd party vendors. The goal will be to deliver a working supportable solution into operations.
The main activities are to lead a team of transition managers which assure the smooth ongoing operation and support of the solution from the Hexaware Program delivery team to the Operational support functions. This role will deliver against the transition scope and plan for the Hexaware program, a program which is delivering global extended service offerings for HEXAWARE end users through the implementation of SAP. These extended service offerings include, though are not limited to, end to end operational process, Non Standard Support Models, and operational process changes to integrated systems as a result of the programs deliverables.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Very good understanding of the customer strategy, services and business processes
• Ability to work and team effectively with IT Services groups and other management personnel including on a global, virtual basis
• Knowledge of service transition methodology, tools and templates
• Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises
• Experience across packaged and bespoke systems and infrastructure, ideally on an international basis
• IT background with experience across different project phases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrates commitment to IT methodologies, processes and standards for transition planning and support
