SAP Security and GRC Consultant

Position Summary: 

The organization is seeking a qualified SAP Security and GRC Consultant to support the design, implementation, and governance of SAP security solutions. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of SAP authorization principles, user and role management processes, and SAP GRC configuration and administration. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong command of SAP ECC,BW, S4HANA Security & cloud security, including Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Public Cloud environments, combined with effective communication and collaboration skills. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Administer, design, and enhance user roles and authorization concepts across SAP systems, including SAP ECC, BW,CRM, S/4HANA, and relevant cloud platforms. 

• Configure and maintain SAP GRC Access Control components such as Access Risk Analysis (ARA), Business Role Management (BRM), Access Request Management (ARM), and Emergency Access Management (EAM). 

• Manage and maintain SAP BW security by designing, implementing, and supporting authorization objects, analysis authorizations, and data access controls to ensure secure reporting and data integrity. Usage of SAP BW with Access DB would is also preferred. 

• Conduct access risk and Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, documenting and implementing appropriate control measures. 

• Provide ongoing support for authorization and access-related incidents, including change management and issue resolution. 

• Collaborate closely with technical and functional teams to ensure alignment of security requirements with business processes. 

• Contribute to internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation, reports, and compliance evidence. 

• Support the configuration and administration of SAP security for cloud-based environments including BTP, SAC, and SAP Public Cloud. 

• Stay informed of emerging SAP security trends, tools, and best practices, and apply relevant enhancements to existing frameworks. 

Required Qualifications and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 

• 4–6 years of practical experience in SAP Security and GRC Access Control implementation and support. 

• Strong technical understanding of SAP authorization management, user provisioning, and role design in ECC, BW, CRM,S4HANA. 

• Proven experience in configuring and supporting SAP GRC solutions. 

• Solid working knowledge of SAP cloud security concepts and architecture (BTP, SAC, SAP Public Cloud). 

• Familiarity with Fiori security structure and integration within S/4HANA. 

• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and communication skills. 

• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• SAP certification in Security or GRC. 

• Understanding of audit and compliance frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, JSOX. 

• Exposure to SAP Identity Access Governance (IAG) or similar governance tools. 

 

 

Educational qualification:

• BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)

Experience :

• 4 - 6 years of experience
