SAP S/4 Hana EDI IT Consultant

In this position your tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining• an EDI system architecture that supports overall business processes
• an overall change and incident management process to support the business in the use of our IT systems
• solutions aligned with CKU concepts and standards in SAP S4/Hana EDI to fulfill the requirements of the different customers within local, business unit and divisional ContiTech

• Supporting the business to develop and maintain the master data concept
• Providing necessary feedback to CKU organization on key impacts of master data on SAP configuration
• Serving as SAP IT consultant (m/f/diverse) to CKU's and business leaders
• Staying on top of IT trends and new functionality to help educate the CKU and business organization on what is possible with new releases and eco system tools
• Maintaining and managing the overall project tasks related to EDI aligned with the overall project plan
• Managing the external vendor supplied resource related to EDI ensuring quality of work, approval of all solutions, and alignment of solutions to divisional standards
• Leveraging the technical partner´s work in our EDI implementation
• Contribute to the SAP connector development - Apply the methods of Vertex Commercial development and production code delivery, leveraging the Partner Work Center's Business
• Ensures knowledge transfer & documentation of program development, EDI architecture & solutions
• Collaborate with SCM Technical Architecture & other SAP IT consultant to ensure seamless integration with other modules

 

• Bachelor´s degree in information technology
• 5+ years of ABAP design, development, debugging and Object-oriented ABAP experience
• SAP S4/HANA experience & technical knowledge of SAP Supply Chain Management
• EXperience in EDI/IDOC & BAPI 
• Ability and proficiency in handling SAP IT projects
• Experience in integration & configuration with SAP Application
• Interface ALE, IDOCs, BAPIs & integration configuration for EDI, SD, MM and TM 
• Knowledge of SAP cross-functional and business processes
• Requirements gathering, validation and fit/gap analysis
• Strong capability in analyzing and solving complex problems and incidents 
• Strong communication skills and project realization.
• Experience working with intercultural and multinational team 
• Fluent in English is mandatory
• Results orientation, assertiveness, resilience, strong teaching skills.
• Willingness to travel (20%)
