Role Summary

We are seeking a senior SAP RISE Migration Lead to guide enterprise transformations to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition under the RISE with SAP framework. In this role, you will act as the primary SI-side authority, responsible for ensuring end-to-end program readiness, orchestrating cross-functional teams, and managing dependencies across SAP, hyperscalers, and third-party vendors. You will enforce SAP ECS and MCS governance, mitigate risks, and ensure disciplined execution, serving as the central point of accountability for mission-critical RISE programs that drive measurable business value.

Candidates must be available full-time during the client’s business hours, with the project scheduled to start on March 2, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end readiness for RISE transitions, ensuring technical, integration, security, and operational dependencies are identified, tracked, and validated.

Oversee execution of migration & conversion tasks including readiness checks, code remediation, data migration planning, cutover sequencing, and performance validation.

Act as the Primary SI-side mission-critical delivery lead, working peer-to-peer with SAP Mission Critical Services (MCS/TQM) and SAP ECS.

Coordinate cross-functional teams across S/4HANA, Basis, Integration, Security/IAM, Network & Connectivity, SAP BTP, hyperscaler teams, and third-party vendors.

Drive and validate target-state architecture decisions, including connectivity models, security trust, integration patterns, and sizing, aligned with RISE best practices.

Govern execution activities including readiness checks, custom code impact assessment, migration sequencing, cutover rehearsal, downtime optimization, and post-migration validation.

Ensure alignment with RISE entitlements and tooling (e.g., SAP readiness utilities, custom code analysis tools), where applicable.

Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control, ensuring SAP quality gates and readiness checkpoints are met.

Serve as the primary delivery interface between SDA, customer leadership, SAP stakeholders, hyperscale providers, and delivery partners.

Ensure structured documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness for post-go-live support.

Hands-on technical involvement may be required to unblock delivery or validate readiness, provided it remains within SAP ECS boundaries.

Qualifications

10+ years of SAP delivery leadership experience

Proven experience delivering RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition programs.

Strong understanding of SAP ECS managed services, RISE roles & responsibilities, and SAP MCS engagement models.

Demonstrated ability to lead mission-critical cutovers and go-lives.

Proven track record of effectively communicating with executives, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and mitigating risks.

SAP Activate, PMP, or equivalent certification.

Experience with SAP Signavio / Business Process Intelligence.

Experience with SAP readiness and custom code analysis tools.

Prior engagement with SAP Mission Critical Services or MaxAttention.
