SAP Project Manager Italy – Multi Site Conversion

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Program Manager to provide end to end governance for a coordinated SAP conversion across a manufacturing plant and a connected technical center in Italy. This role is responsible for overall program leadership, cross site coordination, stakeholder alignment, and delivery governance while system implementation activities are executed by a global system integrator.

The Program Manager acts as the primary client representative and is accountable for ensuring delivery outcomes meet business objectives in terms of scope, schedule, quality, risk, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Provide overall governance and leadership for a multi-site SAP conversion program

Manage integrated schedules, dependencies, and milestones across all locations

Serve as the client representative overseeing and governing the system integrator

Ensure consistency of process design, data migration, testing, and cutover activities across sites

Lead executive, operational, and steering committee meetings

Validate delivery quality, risks, readiness, and mitigation plans throughout the program lifecycle

Drive structured and effective communication across technical, business, and executive stakeholders

Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, SAP standards, and internal governance requirements

Oversee hypercare and stabilization activities across all locations following go-live

Required Experience

Ten or more years of SAP program or project management experience

Proven experience delivering multi-site SAP implementations or rollouts within manufacturing environments

Demonstrated governance experience managing global system integrators

Deep understanding of SAP materials management and manufacturing-related processes

Experience coordinating manufacturing plants and engineering or technical organizations

Fluent in both English and Italian

Ability and willingness to work on-site in Italy
