SAP O2C Functional Consultant, Senior Staff Engineer

We are looking for an experienced BPE Commerce Functional Consultant with a strong Order-to-Cash (O2C) background to lead and support end-to-end BPE Commerce implementations. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and integration partners to deliver scalable, customer-centric commerce solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA and related systems. 

Responsibilities:

• Participate in end-to-end BPE Commerce implementation projects, supporting all phases including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, UAT, data migration, and go-live support. 
• Lead and contribute to O2C processes in BPE Commerce including product catalog, pricing, promotions, customer management, cart, checkout, order management, returns, and refunds. 
• Drive functional design and solution workshops with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into BPE Commerce solutions. 
• Work closely with SAP SD / S/4HANA teams to ensure seamless Commerce-to-SAP integration for order creation, billing, delivery, and invoicing. 
• Establish strong credibility and act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders across business and IT teams. 
• Review and validate Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), solution designs, and functional configuration documents. 
• Provide functional guidance on BPE Commerce capabilities, best practices, and solution quality across projects. 
• Support issue analysis and resolution by leveraging functional knowledge of O2C flows and integrations. 
• Collaborate effectively with distributed teams including technical developers, integration teams, and offshore/onshore stakeholders. 
• Analyze and resolve complex business and system issues under tight timelines and project pressure. 

 

• 8+ years of overall experience with strong exposure to BPE Commerce (SAP Commerce Cloud) or equivalent commerce platforms, with deep O2C functional knowledge. 
• Proven experience in at least one end-to-end BPE Commerce implementation. 
• Strong understanding of O2C processes including pricing, promotions, order orchestration, returns, refunds, and customer lifecycle. 
• Hands-on experience with Commerce–SAP S/4HANA (SD) integrations. 
• Good understanding of integration touchpoints with SAP SD, FI, logistics, and external systems. 
• Experience leading functional solution design and client discussions. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work flexibly to meet aggressive project deadlines. 
• Experience in B2B / B2C commerce scenarios and retail processes will be an added advantage.
