Job Title: SAP MDG S/4HANA Business Analyst

Job Description:

Business Analyst serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that

SAP MDG solutions align with organizational goals and requirements. They play a crucial role in

understanding business processes, identifying master data management needs, and translating them into

functional specifications for SAP MDG implementations. This role requires a strong understanding of

business processes, data governance principles, and excellent communication skills to facilitate

collaboration between business users and IT teams. Candidates should have a strong understanding and

domain knowledge on Material Master Data within SAP ERPs linked to various processes. They should

be knowledgeable about the capabilities of the SAP MDG - Particularly Material Domain. Familiarity

with other MDG domains, such as Business Partner and Finance, is a plus.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for SAP MDG capabilities,

including configurations, customizations, enhancements, and workflow management.

 Collaborate closely with SAP MDG Solution Consultants and Architects to design solutions that

meet business needs while aligning with industry best practices and organizational objectives.

 Act as the single point of contact for the Development Team, participate in various calls, and help

remove impediments.

 Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams to transfer knowledge and address issues

effectively.

 Document data governance rules, data quality metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to

ensure the consistency, accuracy, and completeness of master data.

 Develop test cases on business processes involving different platforms End to End, participating

in unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, and playing a key role in user

acceptance testing (UAT).

 Provide support and assistance to business users post-implementation.

Essential Skills:

 Proficiency in SAP MDG S/4HANA, particularly in the Material Domain; knowledge of

Business Partner and Finance domains is a plus.

 Experience with SAP Master Data processes across different domains, especially in Material

Management.

 Strong background in SAP MDG implementation and customization including knowledge in Data

Modelling, Process Modelling and UI Modelling.

 Ability to write business specifications after consulting with business stakeholders.

 Proficient in end-to-end (E2E) functional testing across different platforms.

 Understanding of data modeling concepts and data governance principles.

 Familiarity with the end-to-end functionalities of MDG tools.

 Capable of designing SAP solutions for interfaces in the Material Domain, linking SAP systems

to third-party systems from a functional standpoint.
