SAP Leader

JOB ROLE OVERVIEW:This position will provide the leadership to the SAP S/4 HANA implementation program. The person will be a proactive, self starter and work closely with the CIO and business leaders on various decisions starting from SAP product sizing, vendor partnering budgeting and planning for the SAP program. The person will be the primary SPOC for the SAP implementation working closely with the IT and business functional peer groups and steer the key decisions related to Solution Blueprinting, Configuration and Test management and Change management to bring in a mature SAP ecosystem.

The role requires to take ownership on all aspects to maintenance, cost and quality of service, including that related to upgrade / release management once of the implementation is completed. The role will have a team of 3 to 4 people reporting directly and work in peer groups with the Cloud Infrastructure leader and business functional managers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Primary SPOC for the SAP implementation.
• SAP S/4 HANA Product Sizing
• SAP Vendor partnering in full life cycle implementation.
• Build a high performance SAP team across functional modules who can deliver to the project plan.
• Single point of ownership on Scope management, cost management and Quality to production.
• Actively collaborate inter-departmental dependencies working with peer groups using a level of influence and drive positive actions.
• Build the process for SAP sustain / DevOps team who can deliver Operational support and ongoing changes based on business needs, priorities and cost-benefits evaluation.
• Take ownership on upgrades and plan to deliver the same with no unplanned business downtime.
• Shared ownership on cost optimization related to Cloud (RISE costs) deployment of SAP solutions and ongoing RUN costs.
• KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• A water tight contract with SAP on product metrics and sizing and with the implementation partner as related to people competency, contract commercials and Risk management of the implementation.
• On time and on budget delivery of various SAP program milestones.
• Quality of delivery – Scope creep into subsequent project phases, Change management effectiveness and containment of defects in production.
• Innovations in the solution by demonstrated within the standard SAP product configuration and reduction in customizations.

Requirements:
Financial Responsibility

( Budget, Cost, Sales etc ) On time and On Budget SAP S4 HANA implementation

Technical Competencies

• Atleast 2 full lifecycle implementation playing the primary role in SAP Production Planning and Quality management
• ( PP / QM specialist) implementations.
• SAP Inbound Inspection ,Production Planning – In house Inspection ,Quality Planning, Delivery based Inspection, Stock Transfers Inspection , Inbound Logistics.
• Master data, PLM , IT-OT integration, knowledge of MES systems would be desirable and its interfaces / integrations.
• Understanding of technical components required to support business processes, including integration effort within different functional tracks.
• Good knowledge of associated S4/Hana FIORI Tiles, BTP, Launch Pad, Transactional apps, Personas.
• Should have experience in Manufacturing and desirable from Healthcare, Life Science.

• Self starter, Proactive, works in a cross functional setup with ease. Shows strong penchant for bringing change and change management.
• Problem solver – understand business problems and apply them to SAP solutions in the most innovative and cost effective manner.

Education Qualification

Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering or commensurate experience.

Certification related to processes (Lean / Six Sigma)

Professional Certifications **

SAP S4 HANA certified in relevant Manufacturing areas.
