SAP FICO Consultant

We are seeking an SAP Finance Consultant (FI/CO) who is excited to grow their functional expertise and expand their knowledge across finance processes and SAP S/4HANA. In this role, you will work closely with finance and IT teams to help design, configure, and support SAP Finance solutions that enable core accounting activities such as month‑end close, reconciliations, project accounting, and asset management. This role offers exposure to SAP Private Cloud (S/4HANA), cross‑functional collaboration, and hands‑on learning in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, configuration, and support of SAP FI/CO processes, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centers, Internal Orders, and CO‑PA.

Work with business stakeholders to understand accounting and controlling requirements and help translate them into SAP configuration and documentation.

Support cross‑module integrations with MM, SD, PS, PP, and PM to ensure accurate financial postings and process alignment.

Assist with Project Systems (PS) activities such as settlements, budgeting, and integration to FI, CO, and Assets under Construction (AuC).

Participate in Asset Accounting configuration and support tasks, including depreciation, capitalization, and periodic reconciliation.

Help with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close tasks such as accruals, allocations, settlements, and financial validations.

Participate in data migration, system testing (SIT/UAT), cutover activities, and hypercare support during project deployments.

Create documentation such as functional specs, configuration guides, test scripts, and training materials.

Contribute ideas for best practices, process improvements, and effective use of SAP Finance functionality.

Qualifications

2-3+ years of hands‑on experience or training with SAP FI and/or CO modules, or strong finance/accounting process knowledge with a desire to specialize in SAP.

Understanding of core financial processes such as month‑end close, reconciliations, or financial reporting.

Exposure to or familiarity with SAP S/4HANA (Private Cloud or On‑Premise).Interest in learning cross‑module integrations (e.g., FI/CO with MM, SD, PS, Asset Accounting).

Experience contributing to project workstreams, enhancements, or system support tasks.

Financial Accounting (FI / S/4HANA) or

Management Accounting (CO / S/4HANA)SAP Certification (or willingness to obtain) in:

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with finance, IT, and audit stakeholders.
