A Dutch transportation provider operating public transit networks in urban areas.

Overview
This role focuses on temporarily unlocking SAP ECC data to support reporting needs during the transition to S/4HANA.

Context
• SAP ECC remains critical for reporting across departments
• Organization is migrating to S/4HANA (timeline ~1.5 years)
• A SAP ECC specialist that can setup data extraction is needed to support on this initiative starting in May 2026 for 6 months fulltime.

Key responsibilities
• Set up and stabilize SAP ECC data extraction pipelines
• Make data quickly available for business reporting and exploration (6 months fulltime)
• Support multiple reporting use cases across departments
• Work closely with business to validate data availability and usability
• Transition from raw data exposure to light modeling where needed
• Provide ongoing, part-time support after initial setup (maintenance, fixes, small enhancements)

Profile
• Strong hands-on data engineering experience
• Experience with SAP ECC data structures and extraction
• Experience with modern data platforms (Azure)
• Experience with SAP BTP is a plus (integration platform)
• Comfortable in transitional environments with legacy and target systems
• Able to operate independently and ensure continuity after handover
• Fluent Dutch speaker
• Startdate between 01-05 and 01-06, and available for 6 months fulltime
