About the Role

The Senior Integration Lead plays a central role in designing, implementing, and supporting integration solutions across the SAP S/4HANA landscape for the Government of Manitoba. The role ensures integration quality, reliability, and alignment with organizational IT strategy. The Lead works closely with business and IT teams to coordinate technical delivery and drive outcomes.

You will join Manitoba Digital and Technology Solutions, supporting enterprise transformation initiatives and ensuring SAP systems integrate seamlessly with internal and external applications. Your work directly enables improved service delivery, data integrity, and operational efficiency for Manitoba’s public sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP integration activities across Manitoba government programs, ensuring high-quality technical outcomes.
• Design and implement integration solutions for SAP S/4HANA on‑premise and cloud environments.
• Resolve integration and process issues and coordinate integration testing across functional streams.
• Analyze system interactions and dependencies to ensure smooth end‑to‑end integration.
• Partner with business and IT leaders, system integrators, and technical teams to align on timelines, deliverables, and solution quality.
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance, code review, and knowledge sharing to development teams.
• Monitor and optimize integration performance for reliability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with minimal impact to business operations.
• Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and contribute to SAP practice development within Manitoba.

Must‑Have Qualifications

• 3+ full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA integration implementations (on‑premise and cloud).
• Extensive experience leading SAP integration design, testing, and delivery.
• Proven hands‑on expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Strong experience with integration adapters (File, SFTP, REST, SOAP, IDOC, RFC, HTTP).
• Strong ABAP interface development experience (RFC, BAPI, IDOC, Proxy).
• Criminal record check required prior to start.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience working in public sector or highly regulated environments.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams in large SAP transformation programs.
• Prior work in multi‑vendor environments.
