Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP BTP Governance & Strategy Lead to support the implementation of a robust SAP BTP governance model and develop a strategic roadmap for a client in the early stages of BTP adoption. The candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the client’s BTP practice, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, business goals, and operational maturity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive SAP BTP governance framework.
• Develop and socialize a strategic BTP roadmap tailored to the client’s maturity and business objectives.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and processes for BTP operations, including lifecycle management, security, integration, and compliance.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure alignment and adoption.
• Conduct capability assessments and maturity evaluations to guide roadmap development.
• Provide thought leadership and best practices on SAP BTP services (e.g., Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Data & Analytics).
• Support change management and enablement activities to build internal capability and awareness.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership on BTP strategy and governance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in SAP architecture, with at least 3 years focused on SAP BTP.
• Proven experience designing and implementing governance models in SAP or hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP BTP services, architecture, and integration patterns.
• Experience working with clients in early stages of digital transformation or platform adoption.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and strategic outcomes.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and governance models.
• SAP certifications in BTP or related areas are a plus.
