SAP BRIM Development Senior Consultant – ABAP

Job Description:

• To lead the design, development, and optimization of custom ABAP solutions for SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) on SAP S/4 HANA. The role involves managing and guiding the ABAP development team, ensuring high-quality and efficient development of custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms within the SAP S/4 HANA environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with functional teams to ensure that all technical solutions align with business requirements and SAP best practices, leveraging the advanced capabilities of SAP S/4 HANA.
• Lead the design and development of custom ABAP objects (reports, forms, interfaces, enhancements) within SAP BRIM on SAP S/4 HANA, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Provide technical direction and expertise in leveraging SAP S/4 HANA’s in-memory capabilities to optimize ABAP development for performance and speed.
• Customize and enhance various SAP BRIM components, such as SAP Convergent Charging (CC), SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI), SAP FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable), and Subscription Order Management (SOM) using ABAP.
• Develop and maintain solutions that ensure smooth integration between SAP BRIM and other SAP modules or third-party systems.
• Utilize SAP S/4 HANA's advanced features such as SAP Fiori, OData services, and CDS Views to build more responsive and efficient custom solutions.
• Leverage SAP S/4 HANA’s in-memory database capabilities to enhance the performance of ABAP-based solutions.
• Develop and optimize HANA-optimized ABAP code for faster processing and real-time data retrieval.
• Use Core Data Services (CDS) views and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) to improve data processing within the S/4 HANA environment.
• Design and implement ABAP-based interfaces for integrating SAP BRIM with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW) and non-SAP third-party systems.
• Collaborate with functional leads and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within SAP BRIM.
• Provide technical expertise to support the business in optimizing workflows, resolving issues, and enhancing SAP BRIM functionality.
• Share best practices for ABAP development in the context of SAP S/4 HANA and SAP BRIM with the team.

 

 

Skill Set and Experience:

• A minimum of 08 years of experience in multiple SAP implementation and support projects is required.
• Experience in design, implementation, and overseeing end-to-end technical solutions for complex and unique business requirements preferably on SAP BRIM Solution Suite.
• Solid experience in on latest technology and frameworks including SAP UI5, RAP, CDS, CMIS, ODATA, RAP and integration with SAP BTP.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP integration ALE, IDOCS and Web Services / RESTful required, for integrations with various SAP and Non-SAP systems including BW/BI/dashboarding tools and other non-SAP systems.
• Proficiency in writing complex ABAP code, including modularization techniques, performance optimization, and debugging.
• Evaluate the complex business requirements and provide the technical estimations/solutions.
• Experience in customizing SAP BRIM -EVENTS is must.
• Exposure to Health Care Sector (added advantage)
• Exposure to standard electronic health information (EHI) data exchange methodologies like HL7 (Good to have)
