SAP BODS Senior consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP BODS Consultant with at least 2 full-cycle SAP BODS implementations, preferably in S/4 HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration, transformation, and extraction within SAP systems. You will be responsible for supporting the development and optimization of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) solutions, ensuring seamless data flow between multiple systems in line with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement SAP BODS solutions across various integration scenarios, focusing on S/4 HANA.
• Design, develop, and deploy data migration strategies and data integration processes.
• Participate in data mapping, data transformation, and data cleansing efforts.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure data requirements and technical solutions are aligned.
• Perform troubleshooting and performance tuning to ensure the smooth execution of data integration processes.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
• Provide post-implementation support and resolve any issues related to data integration.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for data integration processes.

Technical Skills & Requirements:

• SAP BODS: 5+ years of experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services, including experience in data integration, data migration, and data transformation processes.
• S/4 HANA: Experience working in S/4 HANA environments (at least 1 full implementation preferred).
• Database Knowledge: Strong knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle, SAP HANA) and ETL processes.
• Data Integration Tools: Hands-on experience with ETL tools like SAP BODS, SAP Data Intelligence, or other integration tools.
• Data Modeling: Familiarity with data modeling concepts, data flow design, and the creation of efficient ETL processes.
• SAP BW/4 HANA: Knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse and SAP Data Services integration with BW/4 HANA (desirable).
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) for data transformation and integration.
• Version Control Systems: Experience with version control and deployment strategies (Git, SVN).

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years and up to 10 years of experience in SAP BODS, with at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
• Certifications: SAP BODS certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with business and technical teams.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues, optimize data processes, and provide solutions in a timely manner.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA migrations and integrations.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions and integration.
• Familiarity with other SAP tools such as SAP BW, SAP HANA Studio, SAP PI/PO.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage tasks, timelines, and resources efficiently.
