Job Title:- Business Objects Senior Architect (Under limited supervision, designs and maintains business intelligence solutions and architecture)

Job Description

The BO Reporting Sr. Architect directly impacts the architecture and deployment of SAP BusinessObjects. As we consider various release upgrades or support packs to SAP BW, ECC, SQL Server, Oracle Database and/or modifications of how we integrate with SAP BusinessObjects, you’ll play a key role.

The Business Objects Architect is primarily responsible for the development, testing and delivery of reports to support the Business’s decision making ability. This encompasses the entire BI stack, including standard reports, dashboards, mobile delivery, and ad-hoc analysis. The BI Reporting Architect will interact with different levels of business audiences to clearly define reporting requirements in support of strategic and tactical decision making. The BI Reporting Architect works with other BI Architects and business partners to validate rules regarding data

integrity and data quality as it relates to the impact on business requirements.

Job Requirements:

Defines and documents the use of BI through user experience/use cases, prototypes and detailed functional requirements for various levels of the user community with specific focus on the business segment’s BI Leads.

Responsible for the development, testing and delivery of Business Objects reports for the user community.

Creates and executes test cases to validate the integrity of both the data and functional requirements.

Coordinates and facilitate user-acceptance testing.

Assists business users with requests for ad-hoc reporting and data analysis.

Provides assistance by responding to inquiries from clients regarding issues and/or questions about reports.

Skills Required:

Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business, MIS, or Computer Science)

Minimum 3 years’ experience with Business Objects BI Reporting,

Good experience with SAP BW, web intelligence development, dashboards, etc.

SQL query-writing required

Knowledge and understanding of relational and dimensional data models

Ability to facilitate stakeholder interviews and requirements/design sessions

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Effective problem solving and analytical skills

Experience with and demonstrated understanding of SDLC
