Role: Senior SAP Basis Consultant (S/4 EMEA Implementations, BTP & Azure Cloud)
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Architect with 8+ years of hands-on expertise to ensure smooth functioning of SAP systems on the SAP NetWeaver platform, focusing on SAP S/4 EMEA implementations. The role manages infrastructure, services, user access, system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and team collaboration for on-premises and cloud solutions including SAP workloads in Azure. Key focus includes EMEA data residency, PCI/data security, S/4 integrations with third-party apps, and 2+ BTP implementations in landscape design, architecture, configuration, and deployment.
Primary Skills and Experience
SAP Basis Core Expertise
• Hands-on Senior Basis Administrator experience with SAP NetWeaver technologies: BTP, BODS, BW, Vertex, Solution Manager, Open Text VIM, SAP SSO, job scheduling.
• Direct experience managing SAP workloads in Azure Cloud: implementation, testing, performance, support.
• Strong knowledge of EMEA data residency, PCI compliance, data security.

System Administration Responsibilities
• Installation, configuration, maintenance of SAP systems on BTP.
• HANA Database Administration: S/4 HANA monitoring, tuning, Smart Data Access.
• System Landscape Design for on-premises/cloud, 2+ BTP service implementations.
• User Access/Security management, roles, permissions.
• Transport Management for code/configuration.

Performance and Operations
• Performance monitoring, bottleneck identification, optimization.
• System monitoring, health checks for stability.
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• System upgrades and patches.

SAP BTP and Cloud Focus
• Setup/management of BTP services: SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, cloud integrations.
• Cloud Connector and BTP administration.
• Basis expertise for BTP cloud apps, S/4/third-party integrations.

Hands-On Project Leadership
• Leadership for applications and projects like Finance/Procurement Transformation.
• Global rollout experience balancing templates with regional needs.
