SAP ABAP Technical Consultant – SD / Sales Management

Role SummaryThe SAP ABAP Technical Consultant will provide hands-on technical support for SAP Sales & Distribution and Sales Management processes. This role focuses on custom ABAP development, system enhancements, and integrations supporting order-to-cash, pricing, billing, and customer management functions across a complex SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and user exits supporting SAP SD and Sales Management• Support customizations and enhancements for order management, pricing, billing, credit management, and customer master data• Develop and maintain inbound and outbound interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and APIs• Collaborate with functional SD consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to custom code and integrations• Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution• Ensure technical solutions align with SAP best practices and performance standards• Participate in documentation of technical designs and custom developments

Required Qualifications• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience• Strong experience supporting SAP SD and Sales Management processes• Proven expertise in ABAP Objects, reports, enhancements, user exits, BAdIs, and forms• Experience with interfaces and integrations (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs)• Ability to work independently in an offshore delivery model• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications• Experience supporting order-to-cash processes in manufacturing or industrial environments• Exposure to SAP ECC and or S 4 HANA environments• Prior experience working in multi-plant or global SAP implementations
